Gecky x WEEX Co-branded Team Racing on World’s Top Formula Circuits
Singapore, Nov. 21, 2024 - The race that brought the curtain down on the Barcelona weekend on September 29, 2024, delivered a truly unexpected result: Vladislav Ryabov stormed to victory, seizing the lead on the opening lap and dominating the race right to the checkered flag. Few could have foreseen this outcome, as the 17-year-old Moscow native was competing in his first race after a nearly two-year hiatus from the sport for personal reasons.
Ryabov coaches the Gecky racing team. You read that right—Gecky ($GECKY) has its own racing team! And the team is recruiting more winners as it’s coaches. Because talented young people today bring a lot and they know how to win!
Gecky's pilot Harold Shepskis & his coach Vladislav Ryabov.
The cryptocurrency world is teeming with meme-based projects, but few can claim a unique selling point like Gecky's: its own racing team. With a remarkably talented young driver collaborating with an equally young and innovative cryptocurrency project, what surprises might Ryabov have in store for the $GECKY community?
Gecky Racing: The Championship Team Behind $GECKY
On November 6, 2024, at the renowned Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, Gecky Racing Team triumphed over classic powerhouses like FRECA, claiming the top spot in Group 1, Session 3 of the testing!
Although Gecky is a newcomer in the Web3 era, it has already established itself as an experienced team on the world Formula racing circuits. Gecky Racing is composed of experts with over a decade of experience in Formula racing, having collaborated with current F1 pilots. The team is equipped with all the necessary facilities, including its own mechanics, racing cars, and parts.
The Gecky team has received certification, allowing its drivers to participate in the 2024 testing program at major circuits. This includes world-class circuits such as Motorsport Arena Oschersleben in Germany, Red Bull Ring in Austria, and Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.
In addition to the MotoPark testing, GECKY Racing has participated in numerous testing, practice sessions, and races, including ITALY Monza 2024, where they competed alongside renowned Italian racing teams such as Prema and its satellite team, PREMA XTRA.
Currently, the Gecky team is engaged in a new testing program, collaborating with other teams for a pilot training program at Europe’s premier Formula racing circuit, FIA EUROPE.
In 2025, Gecky Racing plans to participate in multiple F4 and F3 races, including the Emirates 2025, as well as joint appearances in FIA practice races with other teams, with vehicles featuring the $GECKY brand alongside those of its partners. As an exchange partner of $GECKY, WEEX will also make its appearances known at these exciting occasions.
The pilots of Gecky Racing also serve as ambassadors for $GECKY. Should they be invited to join other teams in the future, their race suits and cars will continue to feature the brands of $GECKY and its partner, WEEX exchange, including in Formula events like F1 and non-Formula races such as the Le Mans 24 Hours. This will provide an opportunity to see $GECKY and WEEX competing together on the world’s top stages. WEEX is the first cex to collaborate with GECKY-USDT for listing and Launchpool.
$GECKY: A Memecoin for the Dreams of a Racing Spirit
Gecky ($GECKY) is a memecoin based on the Ethereum blockchain, featuring the image of a laid-back, friendly, big-dreaming gecko created by Matt Furie, the renowned artist, and illustrator. So it shares the same lineage as the Top 3 Memecoin, Pepe (PEPE-USDT), and boasts a market cap of $8 billion.
Gecky's first appearance was in Furie's book "Night Riders," published in 2012. Where he was seen hatching from an egg, eager and curious to join Hoppy and Wat on their nighttime adventure. Whilst attempting to follow Hoppy and Ratty in the Night Riders, Gecky took a wrong turn and instead of the familiar, enchanting landscapes of the book. He found himself in the bustling streets of a big city.
Gecky has a dream of being an internet celebrity like his idols Pepe, Hoppy, Flappy, Draggy, Bobo, and Brett. So he embarked on an adventure in the magical realms of the Ethereum network, and the adventure is just beginning...
$GECKY was launched just four months ago and reached a market cap of over $1 million at its peak, setting itself apart from its peers. However, it's important to remember that Gecky is not just a memecoin; it's also a Formula racing team that competes with the best. When this 'gecko' aims to catch up with its memecoin peers, it might not need to climb the market cap rankings step by step but instead race against time to take the lead. Every time Gecky Racing hits the circuit and makes headlines, it marks a new milestone for $GECKY.
All revenues from $GECKY will be reinvested into Formula Racing, creating a positive growth cycle that benefits the $GECKY price by promoting the Gecky Racing team.
Meanwhile, $GECKY is leveraging Gecky Racing and Formula racing as a bridge to establish partnerships with more Web3 partners. As more players join the game and more trading platforms list $GECKY, it will continuously move toward a larger stage, significantly enhancing its visibility, liquidity, and market cap.
Recently, two more partners from the Game + DeFi space will be unveiled soon. Stay tuned to receive the latest updates from Gecky community.
While the cryptocurrency space is filled with stories, it often lacks imaginative narratives like that of $GECKY. It also lacks teams like Gecky Racing, which trains diligently day in and day out, fully committed to every race, as well as champions like Ryabov, who constantly push their limits and challenge extreme speeds. The combination of memes and Formula racing is a winning marketing strategy, and $GECKY is destined to be an underdog story.
