Stablecoin Infrastructure Company Circle Tech Completes $40 Million Series A2 Funding Round, Led by Zhongan International
BlockBeats News, July 30th, RD Technologies announced the completion of nearly $40 million in Series A2 financing, led by Zhongan International, Zhongwan International, Radiant Venture Capital, and Hivemind Capital, with participation from Sequoia China, Immutable Capital, Matrixport, and Guotai Junan International Private Equity Fund.
RD Technologies stated that it will accelerate the development of enterprise-grade stablecoin infrastructure, further solidifying its leadership position in building compliant stablecoin infrastructure in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, Zhongan Bank has signed a strategic cooperation memorandum to explore the application of stablecoins in compliant financial services. RD Technologies has previously participated in the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's stablecoin sandbox pilot and launched the HKDR stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the Hong Kong Dollar.
In September last year, RD Technologies completed a $7.8 million Series A1 financing round, with this round led by Sequoia (formerly Sequoia China), Hivemind Capital, Aptos Labs, Hash Global, SNZ Capital, Solana Foundation, Anagram, and Upward Capital among others. This round of financing will enable RD Technologies to continue building a financial platform that bridges the Web2 and Web3 worlds and continue to contribute to the development of the Hong Kong Web3 ecosystem.
